Purpose of the Job
To provide essential administrative and operational support to the HR and Recruitment team, ensuring smooth processes, employee support, and compliance.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
· Assist with day-to-day HR operations, including maintaining employee records in line with policy and GDPR, updating and maintaining HR databases, and handling confidential information securely
· Assist the HR team with scheduling, documentation, and communications, including starters, changes, leavers, salary letters, and referencing
· Monitor the HR mailbox, and respond to minor employee queries signposting employees or managers to appropriate policies and procedures or escalate to the relevant specialist
· Assist with absence management through entering employee absence data and running reports
· Liaise with Payroll over system queries, escalating where required
· Administer our core benefits, as required
· Support the recruitment and onboarding processes through the provision of administrative support including collating interview packs/documents, scanning documents, supporting with induction etc.
· Assist with the organisation of training events and annual activities such as Occupational Health Screening
· Assist with the organisation of employee engagement activities, benefits enrolment events, and recognition programmes
· Facilitate communication between HR and other departments, scheduling meetings, and providing updates on HR initiatives, contributing to the smooth workflow and information flow
· Assist with HR projects, as required

Pay: £10,140.00 per year
