Margo’s Beauty is an early-stage beauty business building a distinctive, high-quality e-commerce brand. We’re looking for a Digital Graphic Designer & Content Assistant to help shape how Margo’s looks and feels online.
This is a hands-on creative role combining digital graphic design with product-image preparation and optimisation. You’ll work closely with the Founder to create polished website graphics, campaign assets and editorial visuals, while also ensuring product imagery is consistent, professional and ready for Shopify.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll design website banners, promotional graphics, campaign artwork and editorial assets; retouch, clean and standardise product images; crop, resize, optimise and prepare Shopify-ready imagery; maintain consistency across backgrounds, positioning and image presentation; adapt creative for different digital placements; organise source files and final assets clearly; and carry out quality checks before content is published.
You’ll also help us build better creative-production systems as Margo’s grows, including reusable templates, image standards and more efficient ways of working.
The Ideal Candidates
You’ll need strong digital graphic-design ability and a portfolio that demonstrates polished, commercially relevant work. We’re particularly interested in candidates who can show strong typography, layout, composition and visual hierarchy; good product-image editing and retouching skills; confidence using Adobe Photoshop or an equivalent professional tool; strong attention to detail; good digital file organisation; and the ability to work independently while responding constructively to feedback. Previous experience with e-commerce, Shopify, beauty, fashion, retail, luxury or consumer brands would be useful, but it is not essential. We care more about the quality of your work and your creative judgement than your exact previous job title.
What you can expect
You’ll work closely with the Founder during an important stage of Margo’s development and have genuine visibility across the brand’s digital presentation.
The role offers the opportunity to build experience across e-commerce design, product-image optimisation, campaign creative, website merchandising, digital asset management and content production. As the business grows, responsibilities may broaden in line with your strengths and the needs of the company.
Strong performers may also have opportunities to progress into areas such as product uploads, e-commerce content, digital asset management, website merchandising and creative production.
Working pattern
This is a part-time role of approximately 20–24 hours per week, normally worked across three days.
The role may be remote or hybrid depending on business requirements. Some flexibility may occasionally be needed around website launches, campaign deadlines or content-production activity.
