Responsibilities

Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely deliveries and pickups
Communicate effectively with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to schedule transportation and resolve logistical issues
Track inventory levels, update records, and maintain accurate documentation for shipments and deliveries
Assist in planning transportation routes to optimize efficiency and reduce costs
Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate loading, unloading, and storage activities
Prepare reports on shipment status, delivery timelines, and logistical performance metrics
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying bottlenecks and proposing solutions to streamline operations

Requirements

Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or related fields preferred
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
Excellent communication skills for liaising with multiple stakeholders
Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment
Proficiency in logistics software or transportation management systems (TMS) is advantageous
Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards related to transportation and warehousing
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also managing individual responsibilities
