LV Care Group are looking for an Accountant/Senior Accountant to join the team to support the core financial operations of our business.

Responsible for the monthly and annual reporting of a portfolio of companies.
- Ownership over the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate, complete and in-line with accounting standards.
- Perform routine ledger reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Manage day-to-day transactional accounting including accounts payable, journal postings, intercompany reconciliations, accruals and prepayments.
- Responsibility for the smooth operation of payroll across the company, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the correct allocation of payroll costs by cost centre.
- Oversee the cross-charging of intercompany costs and payroll recharges.
- Monitor and maintain fixed asset registers, including additions, disposals and depreciation journals.
- Support the preparation for internal and external audits.

Fully qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) with post-qualification experience.
- Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, and accounting controls.
- Proven experience with transactional finance, reconciliations, and intercompany accounting.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g. Xero).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and within a team, managing competing priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
