Full job description

The company is seeking to appoint a Brands & Consumer Marketing Executive. Reporting into the Commercial Director they will be responsible for managing the development of the Oakham Ales identity and brand profile both locally and nationally.

Candidates must have a proven record of success within a marketing environment. They will be commercially astute and have an in depth understanding of the development of consumer marketing strategies, PR and social media campaigns, communication technology, website creation and digital marketing. They will actively follow through and monitor agreed plans and ensure the delivery of set objectives.

The successful applicant will be a self-starter and a responsible individual who will be able to work with a minimum of supervision with exceptional admin presence. Excellent IT, interpersonal and presentation skills together with a high level of numeracy and literacy are essential. A good knowledge of cask ale and wine would be an advantage.

Principle duties and responsibilities of this position include the management of:

▪ Company identity and brand image

▪ Company website & Web Shop development

▪ Digital marketing and electronic media

▪ Consumer insight and research

▪ Implementation of consumer marketing strategies

▪ PR, social media and consumer engagement

▪ Media/Press

▪ Event / Festival Management

▪ POS development

In addition to the above, the successful applicant will need to demonstrate an appreciation of the wider Oakham Ales business vision and a sound knowledge of the drinks industry.

This is a highly demanding role, that would suit a creative, ambitious, focused, and determined individual who wishes to develop their experience in marketing and brand development and to be part of a very forward-thinking and driven company.
