Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Nurse/Receptionist/TCO to join our dental practice. This multifaceted role involves providing exceptional patient care, managing reception duties, and supporting clinical operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, organisational abilities, and a compassionate approach to patient service. The position offers an engaging environment where you can utilise your nursing, IT, and administrative skills to contribute positively to our team.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care by assisting dentists during procedures and ensuring patient comfort
Manage reception duties including greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and handling enquiries efficiently
Maintain accurate patient records using dental management software and ensure confidentiality at all times
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise equipment in accordance with health and safety standards
Support clinical staff with administrative tasks such as ordering supplies and updating patient information
Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, post-operative care, and general queries
Ensure the practice adheres to infection control protocols and maintains a clean, organised environment
Assist with billing procedures and processing payments as required

Experience

Prior experience in a dental or healthcare setting is essential.
Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach towards individuals of all ages
Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Basic IT skills including familiarity with dental management software (EXACT) or similar systems
Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment
Knowledge of nursing practices relevant to dental care is required.
