Trainee Dental Nurse / Receptionist – Mermaid Dental Care

We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable Trainee Dental Nurse / Receptionist to join our welcoming team at Mermaid Dental Care, a busy mixed NHS and private dental practice in the heart of Lewes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to begin a rewarding career in dentistry within a supportive and professional environment.

Job Responsibilities

Assisting clinicians chairside during treatments
Preparing and sterilising instruments
Maintaining high cross infection control standards
Welcoming patients and delivering excellent customer service
Managing appointments and telephone enquiries
Supporting reception and administrative duties

What We’re Looking For

Friendly and caring personality
Excellent communication skills
Reliable, organised and professional attitude
Willingness to learn and develop
Previous customer service or reception experience is beneficial but not essential

Hours & Pay

Full-time permanent position
From £12.71 per hour
