Full job description

I'm hiring a Kitchen & Interior Sales Designer to join an established and growing kitchen and fitted interiors showroom.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys design, interiors and sales and wants to work somewhere with a genuinely positive atmosphere and a great team around them.

This isn't just about kitchens either.

You'll have the opportunity to design and sell a fantastic range of interiors, including kitchens, fitted wardrobes, media & TV units, home offices, storage solutions and bespoke fitted furniture.

You'll work directly with customers, taking their ideas from the initial conversation through to design, quotation and ultimately the sale.

What You'll Be Doing

Meeting customers and understanding their style, requirements and budget
Designing beautiful and practical kitchens and fitted interiors
Designing fitted wardrobes, media/TV units, home offices and bespoke furniture
Producing CAD designs, presentations and quotations
Advising customers on layouts, colours, finishes, materials, appliances and accessories
Managing enquiries from initial consultation through to sale
Following up customer enquiries and quotations
Presenting your designs confidently
Building strong, genuine relationships with customers
Negotiating and closing sales
Working towards sales targets
Identifying opportunities for additional products and upgrades
Ensuring designs, measurements and specifications are accurate
Working alongside the wider showroom and installation teams to deliver a fantastic customer experience

About You

Previous experience within kitchen design, fitted bedrooms, wardrobes, fitted furniture or interior sales would be great to have — but it's not essential.

I'm equally interested in someone who has the right personality, strong sales ability, an eye for design and a willingness to learn.

You could already be working within kitchens and interiors, or you may come from another sales environment and be looking for an opportunity to move into design-led sales.

You'll ideally be someone who:

Is confident, personable and great with customers
Has a natural eye for design and attention to detail
Enjoys selling and is motivated by achieving results
Can listen to a customer's ideas and understand what they're looking for
Is comfortable discussing budgets and asking for the sale
Builds rapport naturally
Is organised and able to manage multiple customers and projects
Has a positive and enthusiastic attitude
Enjoys working as part of a team
Is keen to learn and develop
