At Martin Tolhurst Solicitors, we're looking for a proactive and client-focused Conveyancer to join our wonderful Residential Property team in Sittingbourne.
You'll play a key role in guiding clients through one of the most important transactions of their lives, managing a varied caseload while delivering exceptional service from instruction through to completion.

What You'll Be Doing
As a valued member of our Residential Property team, you'll manage your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters while ensuring clients receive a professional, efficient and positive experience throughout the transaction.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a varied caseload of residential property matters including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity
- Providing clear, practical legal advice and maintaining regular communication with clients, agents, lenders and third parties
- Progressing matters efficiently from instruction through to completion
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, firm procedures and risk management policies
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members and support staff where appropriate
- Assisting with business development, networking and marketing activities to strengthen the firm's profile and client relationships
- Maintaining accurate records and updating the firm's case management system
- Providing support to colleagues and assisting with departmental requirements as needed
What We're Looking For
We're keen to hear from candidates who have:
- Previous experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload
- A Law Degree, LPC, CLC qualification or equivalent technical qualification
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive and client-focused approach
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and case management systems
- A professional, dependable and flexible approach to work
