Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Labourer/Groundworker to join our team. This role involves assisting with various groundworks and site preparation tasks, supporting construction or landscaping projects. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of site activities, maintaining safety standards, and contributing to the timely completion of projects. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills within the construction or landscaping industries.

Responsibilities

Assisting with ground preparation, including digging, trenching, and levelling surfaces
Moving materials, tools, and equipment around the site safely and efficiently
Supporting team members with various manual tasks such as mixing materials or setting up scaffolding
Ensuring work areas are kept clean and free from hazards at all times
Assisting with site clearance and waste disposal in accordance with health and safety regulations
Following instructions from supervisors to complete assigned tasks accurately and promptly
Maintaining a high standard of safety awareness during all activities on site

Experience

Previous experience in manual labour, groundworks, or related roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks over extended periods
Basic understanding of health and safety procedures on construction sites
Good teamwork skills and a proactive attitude towards learning new skills
Valid UK driving licence is desirable but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential

This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to gain practical experience in construction or landscaping environments while contributing to diverse projects.

Pay: £120.00-£130.00 per day
