Team Overview
The UK Decision Services team delivers software solutions that help banks, building societies, retailers, and other financial services clients assess credit risk and make informed lending decisions.
Using data from credit reference agencies and other sources, the team designs, configures, and supports decisioning solutions that help clients deliver fast, compliant, and accurate customer outcomes.
This role reports into the Manager, Technical Consultant.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
This role supports the design, configuration, testing, and implementation of decisioning software solutions that translate client requirements and credit risk strategies into accurate, compliant, and scalable automated decision logic.
Translate business requirements, solution designs, and credit risk strategies into automated decision logic, rules, workflows, and configurations within TransUnion’s decisioning software.
Support the Test Team during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and other testing phases, including investigating defects, identifying root causes, and supporting effective resolution.
Required Knowledge And Experiences
Experience working in a professional software development, technical configuration, or solutions delivery environment, including project delivery across in-person or virtual teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate defects, identify root causes, and support sustainable fixes.
Higher education degree in Science, Mathematics, Technology, Business, or equivalent industry experience, with a commitment to continuous learning and development.
Required Technical Skills
Programming or scripting knowledge, such as Python, Java, JavaScript (JS), C and related derivatives, or Lua.
Software configuration experience, ideally within decisioning, rules-based, or workflow-based systems.
