Full job description

Join the Sherborne Schools Group and play a key role in keeping our estates operations running smoothly.

We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Estates & Facilities Coordinator to support the day-to-day management of our Estates department. As the first point of contact for Estates enquiries, you'll coordinate maintenance requests, support projects and events, liaise with contractors and help ensure our sites remain safe, compliant and well maintained.

Based primarily at the Estates Building near Sherborne Girls, you'll work closely with colleagues across the wider Sherborne Schools Group, providing essential support to both operational activities and longer-term projects.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the first point of contact for Estates enquiries and helpdesk requests.
Coordinate maintenance tasks and allocate resources as required.
Liaise with staff, contractors and stakeholders across the Schools Group.
Support the planning and delivery of school events and Estates projects.
Obtain quotes, raise purchase orders and manage departmental procurement.
Monitor budgets, deliveries and departmental records.
Oversee contractor sign-in procedures and support site compliance.
Monitor access control, CCTV and other Estates systems.
Support Health & Safety and safeguarding responsibilities across the site.
Provide administrative and operational support to the Estates team.
