Our Sales & Events Manager is responsible for working with the Managing Director and alongside Brewing and Operations teams to apply your sales skills, market analysis and industry experience to develop and execute a solid growth strategy.
You will be responsible for developing new customer relationships, caring for our current customers and increasing our profile and reach locally as well as across the country and beyond!
We are looking for someone positive and approachable, who is interested in the details and data necessary to build and successfully implement a robust sales strategy. You are a capable and dynamic team member ready to make a big impact. Your strong negotiation and closing skills bring a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Below is an outline of the tasks associated with this role; it is a non-exhaustive list. Still within our relative infancy as a business, having a strong, collaborative team who have a genuine desire to help each other and an accommodating, optimistic and flexible approach to tasks and responsibilities is key to the smooth running of the business.
Company Background
Amity Brew Co is our 20HL brewery based in Greengates, Bradford, and our taproom based at Sunny Bank Mills in Farsley, Leeds. Since opening as an online shop in July 2020 we’ve smashed every expectation - selling out of our initial contract brewed batches and gained national (and some international!) notoriety. Having now been fully open since April 2021, we’ve gone from strength to strength gaining additional capacity, our own production site, canning line, and some national reach via Sellar, as well as starting to expand our local trade offering.
Our co-founders and partners all met whilst working in the beer industry and harboured a desire to create modern, flavourful beers, but with a nod to the classic beers which are often overlooked or passed by. We launched our brewpub in November 2020 into an amazing local independent-supporting community, and hit the ground running for our first full year in 2021/22. We have a core range of seven beers, a Juicy Hazy Pale, a Helles Lager, a Plum Porter, a Best Bitter, a US Pale Ale, a Blonde and a Gluten Free Pale Ale, but support this line up with seasonal brews, special one-offs, and collaborations with like-minded partners.
We’ve now had a year settling into our new production site, and have more than double the output annually, just to start with. We see the Sales & Events Manager role as crucial to our next steps of growth and success.
