Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and reliable Coach Driver to operate passenger vehicles safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, strong communication abilities, and a good understanding of vehicle maintenance. This role involves transporting passengers around the UK and Europe, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the journey. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Safely operate Coaches adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, providing excellent customer service.
Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in proper working condition, reporting any issues promptly.
Follow all safety protocols and emergency procedures to ensure passenger safety at all times.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and passengers, providing clear information regarding routes or delays.
Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels and tyre pressures.
Ensure the Coach is clean and presentable for passengers at all times.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly as a coach driver.
Strong mechanical knowledge to assist with minor maintenance or troubleshooting issues.
Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; experience with large vehicles such as lorries or coaches is advantageous.
Good communication skills in English to interact effectively with passengers and team members.
Ability to operate vehicles safely under various weather conditions and traffic situations.
Organised and punctual, with a focus on providing reliable transportation services.
Customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanour.
