Full job description

Coombe and Sharpe Landscaping Limited is looking for two Groundworks Apprentices to join their team this September!

This role will report to the Operations and Commercial Manager and offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of groundwork and landscaping projects. During your apprenticeship, you will work alongside experienced teams, developing practical skills and industry knowledge in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

As a Groundworks Apprentice, you will take an active role in learning and developing skills in the following areas:

Paving
Groundworks
Drainage
Fencing
Working on the Highway
Health and safety
Manual handling
Correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Safe and correct use of hand tools, mechanical equipment and electrical equipment
Identifying workplace hazards, risks and risk assessments
Machinery care and basic maintenance

Desirable Characteristics

Willing to learn and develop new skills
Keen to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Reliable and hardworking
A good team player
Able to communicate effectively
Enthusiastic about building a career in the construction and landscaping industry

Salary

£8.00 per hour

Annual Leave Entitlement
