What you'll do
As one of our R&M Supply Operators, you will be working in the Network Utilities team, which provides a vital service that helps to ensure we supply water to 1.4 million customers.
Dealing with different challenges every day, you'll carry out a variety of repairs and maintenance to the water supply distribution network while ensuring the work meets quality and customer service standards.
This may include excavating and repairing burst water mains and leaks, as well as making new connections, in addition to landscaping and general building works.
You will work outdoors and will operate as part of a two-person team.
What you'll need
This role will be based in Dorset, so it is best suited to candidates living in the surrounding area, but consideration will be given to those living further away.
Ideally, you will:
have a positive and can-do attitude
be well-organised, customer-focused and a great team player
have experience in excavation using hand tools, installing new services and meters, pipe-laying and/or general building
have a current Streetworks ticket and a Health and Safety certificate, although full training can be given if not
have a valid UK driving licence.
For this role, you will need to take a flexible approach to working hours and out-of-hours working.
