De Vere Cotswold Waterpark Hotel in Cirencester offers a large range of meetings and events spaces including The Mallard and Kingfisher Suites, which are our largest spaces accommodating up to 400 and 370 guests respectively.
As Assistant Conference & Events Manager, you’ll work closely with the team to ensure every event runs smoothly and delivers what the client expects. This is a hands on full time role which involves setting up our event spaces, running the event service and clearing down afterwards and will therefore involve late finishes and weekend shifts.
In return the role offers a salary of £30,257 per annum plus excellent benefits including time off over the Christmas period, £50 staff stays with De Vere, 31 days holiday and an extra paid day off for your birthday to name just a few.
Your skills and experience:
- You have a genuine passion for and experience in the conference and events industry, prepared to put your heart and soul in to delivering memorable experiences for our guests
- You have supervisory experience and enjoy helping to manage, motivate and engage the events team
- Your interpersonal skills enable you to make genuine connections with clients, guests and colleagues
- Most of all, you will share our values such as being graciously warm, demonstrating a genuine approach, anticipating guest needs and ensuring every detail is considered
