Summary:

We’re seeking a reliable and hardworking Junior Water Hygiene Technician to join our small friendly team. This is a great opportunity for someone starting out in the water hygiene industry or looking to build a technical career with full training and mentoring provided.

Responsibilities:

Temperature monitoring and routine inspections.
Water sampling from various outlets.
Flushing of little-used outlets.
Cleaning and disinfection of showerheads and hoses.
Assisting with cold water storage tank cleans and chlorination’s.
Supporting senior engineers with tasks such as TMV servicing, closed system checks, and calorifier inspections.
Completing accurate on-site paperwork and reporting.

We are Looking For:

A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Good attention to detail and communication skills.
Full UK driving licence
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently when needed
Comfortable working in varied environments (plant rooms, roof spaces, schools, etc.)
Basic IT literacy for completing electronic reports

Qualifications:

Previous experience in water hygiene or plumbing.
Knowledge of Legionella control, ACoP L8, HSG274 parts 2 and 3.
Any relevant training (e.g., Asbestos Awareness, Manual Handling, CSCS card).
