Plumber – Smart Water Meter Installer
£41,000–£60,000+ | Van, Tools, Bonus | Immediate Start
Thames Valley + Surrounding Areas (Reading, Swindon, Oxford, Aylesbury etc.) | CIS Subcontractor

Are you a hardworking, honest, and reliable plumber looking for great pay and long-term work?

SHL Workforce is a delivery partner for M Group hiring qualified plumbers to install smart water meters across the Thames Valley area for Thames Water.

We offer stable, high-paying work with all the tools, support, and training you need — no smart meter experience required.

What We Offer:

✅ £41,000–£57,000+ per year (paid per job)
✅ Fantastic Earning Potential and Bonus Scheme
✅ £500 sign-on bonus after 6 weeks
✅ Weekly pay (CIS subcontractor)
✅ Company van, fuel card, specialist tools & uniform
✅ Paid training provided
✅ Consistent, long-term contract
✅ Optional overtime + Saturday work to earn additional bonus

The Role:

Install internal and external water meters (Up to 8 appts per day)
Complete surveys and follow-up jobs (Up to 2 jobs per day)
Deliver excellent service with professionalism and care
One Saturday in 3 (or more, if you choose)

What We’re Looking For:

Level 2 or similar in plumbing
1+ year of plumbing experience
Full UK manual driving licence (held 1+ year)
Reliable, honest and customer-focused
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
