About us

JIM WRIGHT ENGINEERING LTD is a family run business based in Lincolnshire.

We have been established for over 26 years and have a good customer base.

We work within different sectors including food industry, recycling industry, agricultural and horticultural and pharmaceuticals. Designing and fabricating bespoke machinery for all these industries.

We work with various materials including mild, stainless and aluminium steel.

## Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Tig Fabricator/Welder/Pipe work fitter to join our team in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding and fabrication, with a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with various hand and power tools.

## Responsibilities

- Perform welding tasks using different techniques

- Fabricate and assemble metal components according to drawings or specifications

- Utilize hand tools and power tools for cutting, grinding, and shaping metal

- Work with sheet metal to create structures or parts

- Conduct basic mathematical calculations for measurements and dimensions

- Read drawings and be able to plan, fabricate and fit all aspects of pipework

## Qualifications

- Proven experience in welding and fabrication

- Strong mechanical knowledge to interpret technical drawings

- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools

- Ability to weld using various methods

The position is based at our workshop in Gedney, Lincolnshire and there is also onsite work locally and out of the area as and when required. Some overnight stays are required as and when.

Rate of pay will depend on experience. 4 weeks paid holiday (plus statutory bank holidays) company pension scheme.
