ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Experience: Proven management in a Mechanical Engineering workshop (CNC experience is not transferable).
- Skills: Strong fabrication (stainless/mild steel), solid TIG/MIG, and ability to read engineering drawings.
- Logistics: Full UK Driving License & current UK Right to Work (no relocation offered).
THE ROLE Lead daily operations across 3 workshops (Stainless, Mild Steel, Machine Shop) in a fast-paced environment.
- Operations & Planning: Allocate labor, manage fabrication packs, track project hours, and hit strict deadlines.
- Quality & Safety: Enforce H&S compliance, conduct quality checks, and maintain accurate logs.
- Technical Collaboration: Partner with Design and Project Managers to resolve technical and site issues, and continuously improve processes.
