Full job description

Great news — we are looking for a Class 1 driver to join the TWE Haulage family.

TWE Haulage is a family-owned transport business based in Banbury. We have been operating since 1982 and pride ourselves on looking after our team properly. With us, you are a name, not a number.

This is a great opportunity for a reliable and professional Class 1 Driver who takes pride in their work, their vehicle and delivering a high standard of service.

The Role

We are looking for a Class 1 Driver to carry out long distance day work, delivering and collecting full loads across the UK.

This is a Monday to Friday role with 2 nights out required per week.

You will be allocated a dedicated Scania R460 to use every day.

Pay

Basic pay starts at £42,294.40 annum based on a basic 48-hour week including breaks and all breaks are paid. OTE £57,000.00

Regular overtime.

£2,400 of your annual pay is paid as lunch money, which is tax free.

Weekly or monthly pay available.

What the Job Involves

Carrying out daily vehicle and trailer checks
Delivering and collecting full loads across the UK
Managing your driving hours and working time legally and professionally
Securing loads safely
Keeping your vehicle clean, tidy and well presented
Representing TWE Haulage in a professional manner

What We Require

Cat C+E / Class 1 licence
Driver CPC card
Digital tachograph card
A professional attitude
Reliability and good communication
Pride in your vehicle and your work

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
