Full job description

Paediatric Occupational Therapist

West Sussex
2–2.5 Days per Week
Academic Year Contract
Starting September
£300 per day plus 55p per mile

KT Healthcare is a family-owned private healthcare company specialising in Neurodevelopmental, Brain Injury and Therapeutic Services. We are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred support that enables children and young people to thrive.

We are looking for an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our growing Therapeutic Services team, supporting children and young people aged 8–16 years who are receiving Education Otherwise Than At School (EOTAS) provision as part of their Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

This is a 2 day per week position for the full academic year, starting in September.

About You

You will be HCPC registered and have experience working with children and young people with:

Autism
Sensory processing differences
Learning disabilities
Mental health needs
Challenging behaviours

You'll be confident undertaking assessments, delivering evidence-based interventions and contributing to EHCP provision. You will have experience supporting children to develop functional, sensory, motor and self-regulation skills to enable them to access education and achieve meaningful outcomes. Flexibility to travel throughout West Sussex is essential.

Successful candidates will also complete Children and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) training, fully funded as part of the role.
