Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter and Decorator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming spaces through expert painting and decorating techniques, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet client specifications. Your enthusiasm and craftsmanship will contribute to creating visually appealing environments across residential, commercial, or industrial settings. Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes with precision and attention to detail.
Follow project specifications and safety guidelines to complete work efficiently and safely.
Communicate effectively with clients and team members to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress.
Use appropriate tools and equipment, including brushes, rollers, spray guns, and scaffolding, to achieve desired finishes.
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing materials and disposing of waste responsibly.
Conduct quality checks throughout the project to ensure high standards are met before final inspection.

Skills

Proven experience in construction painting and decorating with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
Valid driving license to access various work sites efficiently.
Excellent communication skills in English for clear interactions with clients and team members.
Strong understanding of safety procedures related to working at heights, handling chemicals, and operating equipment.
Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed instructions accurately.
Good physical stamina for standing, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions.
Reliable transportation to ensure punctuality across multiple job locations.
