We are seeking an Apprentice Land Manager to join our growing Land team, based in Wetherby, West Yorkshire.
The Caddick Land business has grown from its establishment with over 10,000 residential units and 19m sq.ft of industrial land under planning promotion. We are continuing to expand and require an Apprentice Land Manager to help source new and manage existing projects.
Job Purpose
This role is based in Wetherby and focuses primarily on the identification of strategic land opportunities and the management of the strategic land process from inception to completion. This involves managing the key stages from identification of land and navigating planning processes with the opportunity to stay involved right through to the successful delivery of the schemes.
As an Apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced colleagues to develop your planning and spatial knowledge while supporting the identification of new land opportunities for residential and industrial development. You'll gain hands-on experience analysing planning policies, researching development opportunities and understanding the planning process, whilst learning how strategic land projects are progressed from initial appraisal through to planning promotion.

Experience Required
The preferred applicant will have:
- Meet the entry requirements for a Quantity Surveying Degree Apprenticeship, including GCSE Grade 4/C (or equivalent) in Maths and English, together with the relevant Level 3 qualifications (such as A Levels, T Levels or BTEC) required by the apprenticeship provider.
- A desire to achieve achieve RTPI or RICS qualifications (fully supported and funded by the Company)
- A desire to take on new tasks and develop skills organically, working both independently and with the help of others
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- A full UK Driving Licence (or willingness to work towards obtaining one) would be advantageous.
