Apprentice Dental Nurse
ASR Dental Group - Clifton York

At Clifton Dental Practice we place emphasis on prevention as well as personalised attention, offering complete dental services through private treatment and NHS.

You will receive ongoing support, development and training to equip you with the skills and knowledge required for a successful dental nursing career. Your daily activities could include:

sterilising instruments
updating patient records
maintaining equipment
preparing instruments and materials for various treatments
being responsible for infection control in the dental surgery.

As an Apprentice Dental Nurse:

You will have a keen interest in Dental Nursing
You will be motivated, organised, and a good communicator
You will thrive upon maintaining good standards and will drive to constantly deliver and improve the patient journey
No experience needed

During your Apprenticeship you will develop the skills required to support patients and dental staff in providing safe and effective treatment. You will be required to attend college k to complete your Dental Nurse Apprenticeship and have regular exams throughout the course.

Level 3 qualification in Dental Nursing

Maths and English Functional Skills if required

GCSE Maths and English A-C or equivalent

Willing to learn and take on new challenge

A quick learner who is willing to take things on board

Ambitious

Hard-working

Have a 'can do approach'

Possibility to become a full time employee on completion of apprenticeship.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £8.00 per hour
