Drivers Assistant - Part Time - 6 month fixed term contract- based Swansea

Pay Rate: £13.40 per hour
Grade: RCS grade P
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract - 6 Months - Part time
Shift patterns: Part time - Working Wednesday, Thursday and Friday - starting between 05:00-07:00
Location: Swansea SA7 9DG

This is a hands‑on, high‑energy role where no two days look the same — and you'll be part of a team that keeps the taps flowing and the industry buzzing.
**Please note these roles involve the heavy manual handling of kegs of alcoholic beverages**
**Previous drivers mate / assistant experience is an advantage**
✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
Coordinating loading of alcohol products - kegs of beer, cases of wines and spirits onto your assigned vehicle prior to delivery
Working Wednesday, Thursday and Friday each week
Approx 10 hour shift
Assisting the driver to load his vehicle at the start of each shift
Accompanying and assisting driver with unloading deliveries at licensed premises or homes
Staying in touch with the transport team to advise of any problems covering 12-15 drops per day
Completing relevant processes on an electronic handheld device

✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
Are physically fit as the role involves lots of manual handling
Able to cover 05:00-07:00 starts on a 6 month fixed term contract
Have previous experience of working with volume orders
Have excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage their own workload
Can perform simple maths calculations
Previous experience as a Driver's Mate, within a similar environment would be ideal but isn't a deal breaker!
