Full job description

No Experience Required – As Long As You Can Drive!

I am looking for a friendly, fun, reliable animal lover to join my existing team of carers.

Essential Requirements:

Female applicants only
Aged 25 or over
Fluent English
Full UK manual driving licence
Thank you for your understanding regarding these requirements.
Location: Bracklesham Bay (PO20 8LA)
Please check your commute before applying and ensure you are able to travel to this location.

Available Shifts

Day Shifts: 9.30am – 8.00pm
Night Shifts: 8.00pm – 9.30am (sleeping nights)

Currently available:

Monday and Tuesday day shifts every week

Thursday 24 hours weekly

Saturday and Sunday night alternate weekends

Applicants should also be willing, where possible, to assist with occasional weekday, night and weekend cover, as well as helping with cover swaps within the team.

The Role

You will be assisting with my care needs as well as helping care for my dogs. Full training will be provided, so previous care experience is not essential. I'm simply looking for a kind person who loves animals and is comfortable walking dogs on a regular basis.
A manual driving licence is essential as you will be required to drive my adapted van for outings and appointments. Please confirm in your application that you have read and meet this requirement.

About Me

I enjoy concerts, holidays (with and without my dogs), dog training, cinema trips and dog agility shows. A couple of years ago, I even gave a demonstration at Crufts with one of my dogs.
None of these things would be possible without my fantastic team of carers, so the role can include accompanying me on trips and outings with advance notice.

To give you an idea, this year's trips include:

Scotland
Manchester
Sheffield
Los Angeles
Las Vegas
There is also occasional paid dog-sitting work available.
