Full job description

The Chef de Commis is a junior chef responsible for assisting the kitchen team in preparing and cooking food to high standards. This role involves supporting the senior chefs, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring efficient kitchen operations.

Daily tasks/

- Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and measuring according to recipes.

- Assist in cooking and plating dishes under the guidance of senior chefs.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workstations.

- Ensure proper storage of food items, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.

- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines precisely.

- Assist with the setup and breakdown of kitchen equipment.

- Help maintain kitchen safety standards and comply with health regulations.
