Overview
NeuroDoctrine builds the neural operating system for defence, space, and military medicine, a non-invasive neural interface that lets a single mind direct many machines, and gives every commander a live reading of their own readiness. No joystick. No screen. No voice. Built on a decade of neuroscience. Built for the field, offline, when it counts. We're a small, fast-moving team turning a decade of peer-reviewed neuroscience into doctrine, and this September we step out of stealth for the first time, in a room that will include government ministers, NATO figures, ambassadors, and the investors backing what comes next.
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Head of Guest Experience & Protocol to elevate the standards of hospitality, service excellence, and guest engagement across our organization. This leadership role is pivotal in shaping memorable experiences for our guests by overseeing all aspects of guest relations, protocol management, and service delivery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality or hotel management, exceptional organizational skills, and a flair for creating welcoming environments that foster loyalty and positive impressions. Join us to lead with energy, inspire teams, and set new benchmarks in guest satisfaction!
Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive guest experience strategies that enhance overall satisfaction and loyalty.
- Oversee the design and execution of guest protocols to ensure consistency, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity across all touchpoints.
- Lead, motivate, and train teams dedicated to delivering outstanding guest services in both hospitality venues and event settings.
The Summit & Company Events
- Lead front-of-house for the Neurotech for Defence & Space Summit, our public launch in Manchester this September, and any events that follow
- Set the standard for how the venue, meeting rooms, and event spaces present, always ready for a minister to walk in unannounced
- Work alongside our events and operations team to ensure the guest experience is flawless from arrival to departure
The 42-Minute Briefing (our podcast)
- Own the guest experience for anyone recording with us, greeting, briefing, and looking after guests before, during, and after filming
- Ensure our studio and green room present at the same standard as everything else we do
- Be a calm, capable presence for guests who may never have recorded a podcast before, and put them at ease
- Set the standard for how the venue, meeting rooms, and event spaces present, always ready for a minister to walk in unannounced
- Work alongside our events and operations team to ensure the guest experience is flawless from arrival to departure
Company & Administrative Support
- Support the wider team with day-to-day office presentation, hospitality, and guest logistics
- Partner closely with our Executive Assistant and operations team so nothing falls through the cracks between hosting, scheduling, and follow-up
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or hotel management with a focus on guest services or protocol coordination.
- A genuine background in premium hospitality, concierge, or guest relations, the kind of experience built at a five-star hotel, a private members' club, or a leading residential address, where discretion and anticipatory service are second nature, not trained-in for the interview
- Composure around wealth, status, and power, you've spent your career being unremarkable around remarkable people, and that's exactly the skill we need
- An instinct for protocol, you understand precedence, formality, and the unspoken rules of a room without needing to be told
- Absolute discretion as a baseline, not an aspiration
- Warmth that reads as genuine, not performed, the people we're hosting can tell the difference, and so can we
- A bias to action that matches a team stepping out of stealth in six weeks, not six months
This is a rare opportunity to bring that calibre of experience somewhere it's never been applied before, government, defence, and space, at the moment, a company steps into the open for the first time.
Join us as we step out of stealth. Think it. Command it. Recover from it.
