Responsibilities

Operate excavation equipment such as excavators to install underground drainage
Use hand tools and power tools to install new drainage pipes.
Conduct tasks including general site upkeep to support drainage infrastructure.
Inspect systems and perform necessary testing of pipes to ensure no leaks .
Assist with construction projects related to drainage upgrades or new installations, following safety protocols at all times.
Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Collaborate with team ensure all equipment functions efficiently.

Skills

experience in piplelaying essential with a focus on outdoor drainage projects.
Mechanical knowledge of power tools, hand tools, and construction machinery such as excavators.
Strong understanding of drainage systems, and general construction practices.
Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance and repair tasks.
Effective communication skills for teamwork and reporting project progress or issues.
Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions for extended periods.
