Senior Paid Search / Google PPC Specialist (B2C) – B2C Lead Generation
Salary: £40,000–£45,000 depending on experience

About Us
4MM Ltd is a digital marketing and lead generation business based in Altrincham.
Through Media Maze and our consumer-facing brands, we build and scale high-volume B2C customer acquisition campaigns across automotive, financial services, wills, energy, broadband, insurance and breakdown cover.
We currently manage more than £200,000 per month in Google advertising spend across our portfolio. We're now looking for an experienced performance marketer to take ownership of that activity, with a particular focus on Motorly, our automotive brand, where the growth opportunity is most significant.
The Role
This is a hands-on role with responsibility for planning, managing and scaling Google campaigns across multiple B2C brands.
Google Search will be central, but we're looking for someone with broader Google Ads expertise. You should have the knowledge and confidence to plan, launch and optimise across Demand Gen, YouTube, Display and Performance Max as well as Search.
You'll inherit established campaigns with meaningful budgets and lead volumes, while also launching new products, testing customer journeys and identifying opportunities to scale.
This is currently an individual contributor role, with scope for increased responsibility and future team growth.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing and scaling high-volume Google campaigns across several B2C brands
- Taking ownership of Search strategy, campaign structure, bidding and optimisation
- Planning, launching and managing Demand Gen, YouTube, Display and Performance Max campaigns
- Managing budgets against clear CPA, ROAS and profitability targets
- Identifying and testing new keywords, audiences, creative, landing pages and campaign structures
- Working with our creative and development teams to improve advertising, landing pages and customer journeys
- Developing remarketing, Customer Match and first-party audience strategies
- Using GA4, Google Tag Manager, offline conversions and downstream data to improve measurement and optimisation
- Producing clear commercial analysis and recommendations, not just platform metrics
Performance Beyond the Lead
Our reporting increasingly connects the complete customer journey:
Advert > Click > Application > Qualified Opportunity > Customer > Revenue
This lets us optimise for lead quality and commercial value rather than simply the lowest possible CPL. A cheaper lead that converts at half the rate isn't a saving.
You'll help develop our use of offline conversions, enhanced conversions, first-party data and value-based bidding, supported by our internal development, creative and data teams.
The Motorly Opportunity
The role covers our wider portfolio of automotive, wills, breakdown, energy, broadband and financial services campaigns, giving you exposure to different customer journeys and commercial models.
Motorly is where the most significant growth opportunity sits. We're developing the brand beyond motor finance into vehicle search, finance comparison and other products connected to car buying and ownership. Demand from our automotive partners is increasing, and there's real scope to grow the Google Ads activity considerably. You'll take ownership of that growth while maintaining lead quality and sustainable returns.
What We're Looking For
- Advanced Google Search knowledge and strong hands-on Google Ads experience
- Experience managing and scaling B2C lead generation or direct-response campaigns
- Practical experience across Demand Gen, YouTube, Display and Performance Max
- A solid understanding of CPA, CPL, ROAS and commercial profitability
- Good working knowledge of GA4, Google Tag Manager, attribution and conversion tracking
- Experience with remarketing, audience strategy and landing page optimisation
- Strong analytical skills and a commercially minded approach
You don't need to be equally specialised across every Google campaign type. But you should be comfortable taking ownership across the wider ecosystem and able to develop Demand Gen, YouTube and Display activity without needing extensive external support.
Experience in automotive, financial services, insurance or another high-volume lead generation market would be an advantage. So would hands-on experience with offline conversions, enhanced conversions, CRM integrations, Customer Match, value-based bidding or feed-based advertising.
