Paraplanner

Location: Chelmsford, Essex
Salary: £41,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time - Flexible working considered

About the Company

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, independent financial planning firm with offices across Essex and Hertfordshire. The business has built an excellent reputation for delivering personalised advice across pensions, investments, inheritance tax planning, wealth management and personal protection.

Following continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Paraplanner to join their friendly and collaborative Chelmsford office. The business offers long-term stability, invests in its people and has a strong track record of rewarding performance.

About the Role

Working closely with the Financial Advisers, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality technical support and helping to provide an exceptional client experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting client fact-finding and technical research
Carrying out investment and pension analysis
Preparing suitability reports
Producing client service agreement letters
Creating pension, investment and protection illustrations
Compiling cashflow projections and supporting documentation

What You Will Bring

Previous experience as a Paraplanner within an IFA or Wealth Management firm
Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent) - essential
Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments and protection
Excellent report writing and analytical skills
High attention to detail and a proactive approach
