We’re looking for an Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of Fairfield House Hotel. You’ll lead our operational teams, maintain consistently high standards and help deliver efficient service and memorable guest experiences.

- Overseeing daily hotel operations and ensuring smooth, efficient service across all departments.
- Leading, supporting and developing departmental managers and the wider hotel team.
- Taking ownership of operational performance, including service standards, financial targets and guest satisfaction.
- Managing staffing levels, rotas, labour costs and other operational expenditure in line with budgets and business forecasts.
- Reviewing guest feedback, including online reviews, and implementing appropriate improvements.
- Supporting the successful delivery of accommodation, restaurant, bar, corporate event and private function operations.
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety, legal compliance, cleanliness and presentation throughout the hotel.
- Working closely with senior management to increase revenue, control costs and improve profitability.
- Acting as a visible, hands-on leader and resolving operational or guest-service issues effectively.
- Previous experience as an Operations Manager, Hotel Manager or strong food and beverage experience
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate, support and develop teams.
- Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and sound problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Commercial awareness, with experience of managing budgets, labour costs and performance targets.
- A genuine commitment to excellent service and memorable guest experiences.
- The ability to work effectively in a busy hospitality environment and manage competing priorities.
- Professional conduct and a positive, approachable manner.
