Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. The successful applicant will bring leadership skills, creativity, and a commitment to excellence in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation
Oversee food production processes to ensure efficiency and quality control
Manage food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in accordance with health regulations
Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock rotation
Innovate menu items and contribute to menu planning based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
Ensure adherence to all safety procedures and operational policies within the kitchen environment

Experience

Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Supervising experience with team management responsibilities
Extensive knowledge of food production techniques, cooking methods, and presentation skills
Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulations
Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent organisational skills
Experience in food preparation, culinary arts, and restaurant operations is highly desirable
Previous serving experience is advantageous but not essential; however, familiarity with customer service principles is beneficial

Pay: Up to £35,000.00 per year
