We are looking for an enthusiastic, GPhC registered pharmacy technician to join the Marr cluster pharmacy team to deliver pharmacy services to GP practices and community hospitals in the area.
The ideal candidate will be able to work well within a team, under direction and on their own initiative. Through on the job support and training successful candidates will gain experience to allow them to undertake a wide range of tasks to support seamless care such as medicines reconciliation, Medicines Care & Review, pharmaceutical queries including management of shortage and promoting quality, cost-effective prescribing.
You may have a community or hospital pharmacy background or already be working within GP Practice as a pharmacy technician. Good communication, interpersonal and time management skills are essential. Full driving licence and use of a car is essential.
Postholders will work across a wide area - this will involve onsite working in GP Practices and may involve remote working from an agreed base. Bases and areas of work will be discussed at interview.
