Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Practice Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care within a busy clinical environment, supporting general practitioners and other healthcare professionals. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your clinical skills and contribute positively to patient wellbeing. The Practice Nurse will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing services, ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times.

Responsibilities

Delivering direct patient care, including wound management, injections, and health assessments
Assisting with chronic disease management programmes and health promotion activities
Conducting health checks and screening procedures in accordance with practice protocols
Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with data protection regulations
Supporting the administration of vaccinations and immunisations
Providing health education and advice to patients on various health issues
Collaborating with the wider healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care delivery
Ensuring infection control procedures are strictly followed within the practice environment

Experience

Proven experience working as a Practice Nurse or in a similar primary care setting
Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to general practice nursing
Demonstrable experience in patient care, including clinical assessments and treatment procedures
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Compassionate approach with strong communication skills, capable of building rapport with diverse patient groups
Relevant nursing qualification recognised within the UK healthcare system
