Full job description

We are looking for a Medical Secretary/P.A. to join the IPMS Team at WSH. The Pain Department is made up of doctors, a psychologist, a team of specialist nurses, physiotherapists and medical secretaries.

A Medical Secretary/P.A. is needed to assist the team with their administration work and clinical typing. Part of this role will be setting up clinics and booking up follow up appointments.

Liaising with the Telephone Appointments and Waiting List Staff to ensure clinics are set up in a timely fashion and all slots are utilised.

You will responsible for your doctors day to day diary, annual leave, professional leave and study leave.

You will be dealing with patients with chronic pain conditions, these include fibromyalgia, spinal conditions, etc.

To provide a comprehensive personal assistant/secretarial service in support Consultants and associated medical team, ensuring the provision of an efficient and reliable service.
