Job Summary
We are adding a brand-new position of Mine Engineer to our Engineering Team!
This role is responsible for the planning, design, development and optimisation of our quarry operations. It will support long-term reserve management, drill and blast design, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Main Responsibilities
- Developing and delivering quarry extraction, development, and production plans.
- Optimising drilling, blasting, and quarry operations to maximise productivity and efficiency.
- Monitoring reserves, production performance, and key operational KPIs.
- Managing surveying, quarry mapping, and geotechnical monitoring activities.
- Providing technical analysis, reporting, and operational support to improve performance.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quarrying legislation.
- Supporting budgeting, capital projects, sustainability initiatives, and continuous improvement programmes.
- Maintaining accurate records, technical documentation, and regulatory compliance.
About you
Candidates require a degree in Mining Engineering, Minerals Engineering, Quarry Engineering or a related discipline, with previous experience in quarrying, mining extractive industries or heavy industrial operations.
