Full job description

We’re TIP Group – a proud Great Place to Work – and we’re looking for a skilled and motivated Shunter Driver to join our team.

What You’ll Be Doing

️ Safely moving trailers around our busy depot, ensuring vehicles are positioned for maintenance, repair, or collection
️ Safely operate company vehicles to transport equipment and materials between sites, including Hull, Scunthorpe, and other required locations.
️ Load and unload trailers efficiently, ensuring all equipment is secured, organised, and handled in line with health and safety standards.
️ Support workshop operations by assisting with loading activities using a forklift or telehandler
️ Carry out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance, reporting any faults or compliance issues promptly.
️ Keeping our customers’ fleets road-ready and safe for the long haul

What You’ll Bring

️ Full UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence

️ Candidates must be qualified Class 1 drivers and willing to undertake shunting duties as part of the role.
️ A proactive mindset and a sense of ownership in your work
️ A good sense of humour – we work hard, but we like a laugh too
