AJ AUTOS UK LTD is an established automotive Family Run company specialising in the sale of used cars and light motor vehicles, together with motor-vehicle maintenance and repair services.

We are seeking an experienced Marketing and Commercial Manager to develop and lead the company’s marketing, customer-acquisition and commercial-growth strategy.

Main responsibilities

Develop and implement the company’s marketing and commercial strategy.
Identify new markets, services, customer groups and revenue opportunities.
Conduct competitor, market and customer-behaviour research.
Prepare annual marketing plans, commercial forecasts and budgets.
Develop pricing and promotional strategies for vehicle sales, servicing and repair services.
Manage digital advertising, search-engine marketing, social media and email campaigns.
Oversee the company website and online vehicle-advertising platforms.
Analyse leads, sales conversions, customer-acquisition costs and campaign performance.
Build commercial relationships with vehicle dealers, fleet operators, finance providers, insurers and suppliers.
Negotiate advertising agreements, supplier arrangements and business-to-business contracts.
Develop customer-retention, referral and loyalty programmes.
Monitor sales revenue, profit margins and commercial-performance targets.
Manage external marketing agencies, designers and advertising providers.
Produce monthly performance reports for the Managing Director.
Work closely with vehicle-sales and workshop teams to ensure services are marketed accurately.
Ensure all advertising complies with consumer-protection and data-protection requirements.

Essential requirements

Degree or equivalent professional experience in marketing, business, HR or a related subject.
Experience developing and delivering marketing or business-growth strategies.
Strong knowledge of digital marketing, customer acquisition and campaign analysis.
Ability to analyse financial and commercial information.
Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
Competence using Microsoft Office, CRM systems and digital-advertising platforms.
Excellent written and spoken English.

Desirable requirements

Experience within the automotive, vehicle-sales, garage or transport industry.
Experience managing Google Ads, social-media advertising and vehicle-listing platforms.
Experience negotiating business-to-business contracts.
Knowledge of the UK used-car and vehicle-servicing market.
Full UK driving licence. *Compulsory*
