Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Multi Sports Coach and ignite a passion for physical activity and teamwork among participants of all ages! In this energetic role, you will lead engaging sports sessions across various disciplines, fostering skill development, sportsmanship, and confidence. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire individuals to stay active, learn new skills, and enjoy the thrill of competition in a supportive environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact through sport while advancing your coaching career.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver fun, inclusive sports sessions across multiple disciplines such as soccer, basketball, volleyball, and more
Demonstrate proper techniques and rules to ensure safe participation for all ages and skill levels
Motivate participants to achieve their personal best while emphasizing teamwork, fair play, and enjoyment
Monitor activities closely to maintain a safe environment and respond promptly to any incidents or injuries
Adapt coaching methods to suit different age groups and abilities, ensuring everyone is engaged and challenged appropriately
Keep accurate attendance records, session reports, and feedback for continuous improvement
Collaborate with program coordinators to develop new activities that promote active lifestyles

Qualifications

Proven sports coaching experience with a passion for motivating others through sport
Strong background in teaching or instructing diverse groups in physical activity settings
Excellent communication skills to effectively demonstrate techniques and provide constructive feedback
Ability to work outdoors or indoors in various weather conditions while maintaining high energy levels
Enthusiastic team player committed to fostering a positive sporting environment
Relevant certifications in sports coaching or first aid are preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is appreciated
