Full job description

My client, based in Wellingborough are looking for 3 experienced Machine Operators due to continued expansion.

We have 3 positions available:

2 x MACHINE OPERATIVE - Day Shift, 06.00 - 14.00, Monday to Friday,

SALARY: £14.35 for weeks 1-12, £14.45 from week 13

2 x MACHINE OPERATIVE - Night Shift, 22:00 - 06:00, Sunday to Thursday,

SALARY: £16.62 for weeks 1-12, £17.44 from week 13

Both positions are 37.5 hours per week, on a 12 week Temp - Permanent, based Finedon Road Industrial Estate, Wellingborough.

Machine Operator Main Duties:

Setting and operating the machine
Working to customer specifications
Ability to use a variety of hand tools
Some repetitive lifting
To work as part of a team, supporting and assisting others, flexible in different areas

Machine Operator Skills required:

Must have previous machine operative experience (Setting & Operating a machine)
A keen eye for detail
Methodical approach to new tasks.
Capacity to follow written and verbal instructions.
Punctual and reliable, flexible approach to covering holidays and other shifts on short notice.
Can use Vernier caliper's and micrometre measuring equipment.
Ability to complete administration accurately including use of good numeracy skills.

Desirable but not essential:

Previous experience working within mechanical / engineering / manufacturing environment
