The Role
As a Secondary School Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across your specialist subject area.
- Plan, prepare and assess learning in line with the national curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support pupils' academic progress and personal development.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and wider school staff.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school community.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within a UK secondary school setting or recognised overseas teaching qualification with QTS
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Strong subject knowledge
- A passion for teaching and learning
- The ability to inspire, motivate and engage students
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
