Full job description

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious graduate to join our dynamic cross-border accountancy practice as a Graduate Trainee Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to begin their career in international accounting while receiving comprehensive on-the-job training and professional development support.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with preparation of financial statements for clients across multiple jurisdictions
Support senior team members with cross-border tax compliance and advisory services
Help maintain client records and ensure compliance with accounting standards
Assist in the preparation of corporate tax returns for UK and Ireland
Participate in client meetings and correspondence under supervision
Conduct basic research on tax regulations and accounting standards
Assist with audit engagements
Help prepare management reports and financial analysis for clients

Training and Development

Comprehensive structured training program covering international accounting principles
Mentorship from experienced cross-border accounting professionals
Support and study leave for professional qualifications (ACCA, ACA, or equivalent)
Regular in-house training sessions on tax regulations and compliance
Exposure to various accounting software and cross-border reporting tools
Clear progression pathway with regular performance reviews

Essential Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
Strong academic record with minimum 2:1 classification (or equivalent)
Excellent numerical and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced international environment
