The Role As an Early Years Apprentice, you will work directly with children aged 0 to 5 years. You will earn a wage while gaining a nationally recognized early years qualification Key Responsibilities:
- Help care for and supervise young children.
- Support daily learning activities, play, and indoor/outdoor exploration.
- Assist with snack times, personal care, and rest periods.
- Build warm, positive relationships with children and their families.
- Complete all coursework and training requirements on time.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures.
- Complete training that supports children and your role
- Health and safety, keep areas clean, free from hazard.
- Ensure all safeguarding needs are met.
- Have a duty of care

Duties
- Assist in planning and delivering age-appropriate activities that promote learning, development, and fun for children
- Support daily nursery routines including feeding, nappy changing, and outdoor play
- Observe and document children's progress, sharing insights with senior staff to tailor care plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by following health and safety policies
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to foster positive relationships
- Support the supervision of children during activities both indoors and outdoors
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance childcare knowledge and management skills
- Ensuring all safeguarding needs are met and whistle blowing.
Safer recruitment - Pay is dependent upon age. Terms and conditions apply with annual leave increase. Probationary period until satisfactory and all references, DBS etc are completed. Probationary period is 3 months X2.Additional pay rise subject to Business profits. Professional training the company provides and personal training you are responsible for. Charges apply for certificates if left before the 12 month after the course. Training maybe in work hours and/or outside of work hours at no additional cost. All disciplinary has to be shared, any safeguarding issues/disciplinary has to be shared. Pay: £16,640.00-£40,744.51 per year
