About the Company
One Mortgage System (OMS) is a Financial Technology company catering to the property lending and insurance marketplace. We provide a web application CRM/Case Management system on a SaaS model, targeted at mortgage/loan/insurance brokers, packagers, networks, and lenders.
Our product launched in 2017 and has quickly become one of the biggest and most highly regarded CRMs in the industry, and has progressively improved with further development such as new features, API integrations with other platforms, and optimisations.
Our offices are based in Horsham, West Sussex.
About the Role
We are seeking bright, ambitious individuals to join our growing Helpdesk team as 1st Line Software Support. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills, gain valuable experience, and progress your career within a dynamic fintech environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer queries via phone and helpdesk ticketing system.
- Provide general support and troubleshooting.
- Investigate and resolve issues where possible.
- Escalate complex issues to 2nd or 3rd Line Support as needed.
- Ensure all queries are addressed within agreed SLA timeframes.
- Log bugs and communicate them effectively to the development team.
- Perform basic account management tasks, including registration/cancellation of software licences, adjusting settings, and providing user training.
- Assist with onboarding and launching new clients.
- Collaborate with third-party partners to resolve API integration issues.
This is a full-time, on-site position based in our Horsham office, conveniently located near the town centre with parking and local amenities.
Desired Skills, Qualifications & Experience
Required:
- Experience in a customer service environment.
- Excellent spoken and written English, with a professional telephone manner.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- A-Level (or equivalent/higher qualification) in a technology-related subject (e.g., ICT, Computing, Computer Science).
- GCSEs (or equivalent/higher qualification) in English and Maths (pass grades or above).
- Basic understanding of software fundamentals.
- Willingness and enthusiasm to learn new skills.
Preferred:
- 2 years experience working in a customer services environment.
- Ability to read and write SQL queries for database related tasks.
