Overview

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. The successful candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and be comfortable working with a range of hand and power tools. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about automotive technology and seeking to develop their career within a professional environment. All positions are paid, including internship opportunities.

Duties

Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify faults or issues
Perform repairs and maintenance tasks such as brake replacements, engine diagnostics, and tyre fitting
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs
Assist with vehicle diagnostics using specialised equipment
Carry out heavy lifting when required, including moving parts or components during repairs
Maintain accurate records of work carried out and parts utilised
Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards
Keep the workshop clean, organised, and safe at all times

Experience

Proven mechanical knowledge with a good understanding of vehicle systems
Experience working with hand tools and power tools in an automotive setting is desirable
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Prior experience in vehicle repair or maintenance is advantageous but not essential for entry-level roles or internships
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
