MET / Body Repair Technician (Accident Repair) | Bodymatters (Stafford) Ltd | Staffordshire - PAY TO BE DISCUSSED
We’re Bodymatters (Stafford) Ltd, a busy, well established accident repair centre, and we’re looking for a skilled MET / Body Repair Technician to join our close knit workshop team.
You’ll be working in a small / medium sized bodyshop alongside other shop floor staff, in a place where quality matters, the pace is steady, and everyone pulls together and works together.
The role
This is a hands on position suited to someone who’s confident with MET work and body repair, and who takes pride in doing things properly.
Typical duties include:
- Strip and fit (MET) on a range of vehicle makes and models
- Remove and refit trim, panels, bumpers, lights, fittings, and interior components
- Identify damage and report additional work clearly
- Assist with body repair tasks where needed (depending on your skill set)
- Work safely, cleanly, and in line with workshop processes and quality standards
- Help keep the workshop organised and running smoothly
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in MET and or body repair within an accident repair environment
- A quality first mindset (you care how the job leaves the building)
- Reliable, team focused, and able to manage your own workload
- Good attention to detail and a practical, problem solving approach
- Full UK driving licence preferred
