Dwellings Property Consultancy, a Birmingham-based real estate firm, is seeking a creative and insightful Property Research and Insights Analyst to join our team. You will enhance our proprietary market data, produce clear market and economic reporting, and develop original insights on local property values, rents, and demand to support clients and internal decision-making. Your work will range from tracking individual property markets across Birmingham and the West Midlands to following the wider economic and demographic trends that shape them, and you will contribute to client presentations and advisory materials along the way.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse property market data, economic indicators, and local trends to produce market projections and insights.
- Monitor rents, capital values, yields, and demand across residential and commercial property.
- Develop and maintain proprietary market datasets and interrogate third-party data sources, such as Land Registry records.
- Prepare clear reports, short summaries, and data visualisations to support business and client decisions.
- Contribute to pitches, client presentations, and advisory materials.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and clients to explain market trends clearly.
- Use Excel to organise, compare, and present data.
Requirements
- A degree in Economics, Geography, Real Estate, Planning, Project Management or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in a similar research or analytical role; property market experience is an advantage.
- Good analytical and research skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Strong Excel ability; familiarity with GIS, QGIS, R, or Python is a plus but not essential.
- Clear written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Commercial awareness and a genuine interest in the property market.
